Story
It didn't take long to finish her duties for the day, studying within the sanctum she calls home. Exiled for crimes she did not commit, she seemingly found the strings of destiny pulling her towards the ruined sanctum inside the vast woods she now calls her home. Since her departure this sunrise, she was eager to return after doing her daily chores. They grew trickier and dangerous the more she ventured into the heart of the forest. The Whisperwoods, an eerie place full of rumor and legends. Ranging from spine-chilling stories to tales of old, some even older than civilization, going deep and dark within the earth.
Written in ancient text, this knowledge is rare to find in the civilized world, hence many adventuring parties venture into the thicket. Gathering their strengths before going into the dark woods. But many do not return, either grasped by the clenches of woodsy guardians or falling prey to the whispering shadows underneath the tree crowns. Anira herself even scouts out for different travelers, finding their way through the woods, luckily she is quite adapt at hiding her presence from prying eyes. Guiding her with a hidden hand outside the forest, frightening them with her nature magic without showing too much. Saving them without their knowing, something she had hoped would witness herself in due time. Although, this day had something else in store for her.
Grasping her tunic, she heads out of her tidy quarters, walking up the tower's staircase. Almost rushing to get her feet moving, she reaches the top. It was a former bell tower by the looks of it, overgrown and fully claimed by nature. She looked over the woods, the border of the woods could be seen, a mountain range in view, multiple hours on foot away. Luckily, she was keen on traversing this domain, leaping down in a nimble turn, spreading her wings as she flapped them vigorously. She set out towards the eastern side of the woods, with the sun as her guide.
Today she was looking into a rumor she heard, birds whispering to her about a grim and dark cavern spewing vile creatures out during the night. She heeded the chirping bird's warning, going there under the cover of the sun. It was already known that monsters, beings that fear the sun, dwell underneath the surface, but them getting out of their deep cavernous systems seemed odd. She had to take a look at this herself, first a simple scouting mission to assess the situation before she dared give up her advantage of being airborne only to go underneath the dirt and soil......
Remarks
Crydogg made this remarkable piece! I appreciate all the effort you have put into it, you did amazingly well! I can strongly recommend this Artist. Also this small story, is just a hint at what might come. The dangers this world inherited.

Thanks for your attention, well its still a WIP story so its not that final yet. But the Idea was, that she was simply too slow to help the people in need. She had to make promises she could not keep. But in the end she was unjustly convicted as a criminal by rural society and sought shelter in the woods.
