This one is a bit different. This is my take on this week's Thursday Prompt. This week, the word for the prompt was "rag".
As normal, please be sure to check
ThursdayPrompt for more stories.
Normally, I like to challenge myself to have my attempt at the prompt done on Thursday (it is called the "Thursday" Prompt for a reason). However, I was in one of my fits at the time and wasn't really in the mood for much of anything to be honest. In order to compensate for having failed my own personal challenge, I assigned a special challenge to myself for this week's submission: complete the prompt, but complete it five times over.
This one is a bit odd and probably not as well done as it could have been if I had just put a bit more time and thought into it. Regardless, I hope you enjoy my foolish antics.

I'm grateful you'd say so, but I still feel this needed some work.
Also, I'm very glad that Mr. Torrez has Celtic's Seal of Approval! Initially, Mr. Torrez was just an excuse to get Jackie out of the room in the first one, but the idea almost immediately hit me after I posted the previous entry.

As Admiral Gorshkov said, "Perfect is the enemy of 'good enough'" ;) In all seriousness that's why you see some Version 2.0 of stories in my gallery, if I waited until it was perfect I'd never upload it, but then I can go back and tweak and improve it at my leisure. I can feel Helix glaring at me but we have a rather different way of approaching things in general.
And I see! I did wonder, has his family rejected him because of his new form or does he only worry that they would?

I really need to make the time to go back and make some 2.0 versions of my own stories, but I'm so fixated on finishing up 1.0s. Not enough hours in the day...
I think you may have just helped me write up Mr. Torrez's backstory a bit: worrying that his family would reject him would likely be natural, but having already been rejected sounds much more interesting story-wise. I definitely want to keep this one going now.
