ok so i wanted to try my hand in digital art i figured and was told that taking a coloring page and doing it that way. so this is my first attempt i used SAI bunches of thanks to

How did you color this? It looks like you've just colored in the lines on the same layer, if so, I have a tip that'll really help you! Just take the lines you want to color, make a layer UNDERNEATH them, and then set the layer the lines are on to the mode "multiply" and you should be able to color underneath them.
i guess u can say i kinda did and it is all on 1 layer, but i know nothing about this program so i fiddled with what seemed easy so far and went from there. i used the selecting wand and colored it there all i used was an airbrush and the pen to redo the lines since the color kinda went over parts of them. but i have other pics i can do this with and ill try the layering thing later after sum much needed sleep. thanks for the helping tip.
