Six vowels and seventeen consonants. Plus W and X, which some people consider to be Not Real Letters.
Most letters can be drawn with one stroke using a thin tool like a pencil or pen. When writing, pay attention to closed loops, open loops (like spirals), and cusps. Letters can be drawn in any orientation and still be the same.

The 5x6 font shown here is about as small as I could make it without losing too much information. I may try to make a version that works well with my 7x13 font.
