I'm still trying to figure out what the 14 in 
charizard14 is for...judging by this picture...hmmm...
14...hundred kilograms? That's over a ton and a half...seems about right.
Just me messing around with rushed coloring, seemed to match the sketchy nature of the source pic. I think I'll do more rushed colorings in the future, they're a good breather between the stuff I'm more serious about doing.

This is a very good point, and something that I, as a colorist, have done my best to take into account.
The short answer is that I pretty much always OK things like this with the line-artists. Trig has already allowed me to color whatever I want, and what I do on my side translates into more or less advertising him to whatever portions of the fandom my influence reaches. He gets more positive regard, and hopefully, more commissions.

also i read your journal. if you want someone to talk with please feel free to drop a note man!. also i noticed you liked coloring things. Would you be interested in seeing the sketches i have available? one of my main ones i use as a profile pic is also my most commonly used ref image seeing...as damn near all the ones with my colors are stinking mature!!! its hard to show a clean artist my colors and body tone....*shuts up* shiii i was sounding like a freebies bug there! but if you don't mind heres zee link http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3233375/ WKD is the main man his art is just well you can tell with this pic its wonderful! also please i beg you note me before you color so i can at least give you the run down on my colors... i'm not saying i know you will take the job but i thought i'd add my sketches and give you my permission to your long growing list. *snicker* also if i must say your use of duller colors like the yellow on his belly i think really adds to hsi character. he normally has a bright vibrant yellow on his zards belly but the fuller yello really adds a nice depth that the brighter yellow couldn't provide. lovely work!

I never said the submission was crappy, you decided to conclude that I had. As for rushed, it was. That's the objective truth. This took forty minutes. That is comparatively rushed for me.
I'm glad you like how I toned down the very bright colors. That was really the only way I was going to get this coloring job to work. I'm sorry, though, that I will likely be turning your request down, as I have got way too much to do already, and I only kind of do things like this picture here on a sudden whim. If I don't feel inclined, I don't really do it. It's a biased system, yeah, but seeing as I don't charge, I figure that's pretty fair.
