After years of development, Brok the InvestiGator finally came out.
I didn't play it yet, but I'll have to, seeing I like point and clicks and beat em ups.
And there's so much growy potential here...😈
Then why I won't do a universe on it?
Because, like with Beastars, the grim setting (post apocalypse, segregation, classism...) really doesn't work with my light and soft style.
But also, because I'm seriously pissed that they picked the (almost) most depressing and tragic ending, and made it the canon one!😡
Or the fact that the more it goes, the more it turns in an angst-fest just for the sake of angst (in my opinion, at least)!
So, of all the universes to welcome it, why Zootopia? After all, the Shrug of God on the reptiles and birds disqualified it on Beastars.😅
Well, here, that Shrug of God works in favor, since there are ways to go around it.
Also, cops, investigator? How could I pick something else?😜
How it works?
Well, the investigation on the mysterious "philter" and a strange incident will lead the Zootopia team to a remote village, where they meet the local order representant, Brok, completely broken. They'll have to discover why, save him from despair and team up to solve a great mystery that could put the world in danger...
In the pic, Nick and Brok enter a key building of the mystery. What will they find?

I have admittedly forgotten what the philter is, just that there's a growth drug that ZPD is investigating. And since Brok is an investiGator himself, of course he'd be trying to solve it for the sake of his son. I'm just saying, I took a break from playing the game because of how bleak it is and YES WHY MAKE THE FREAKING BAD ENDING THE CANON ONE?
Ahem. Anyway, I'd totally see Brok trying to make the place safer for his son Graff, or at least for a cash reward just to make their lives easier. They kiiinda...Yeah, ahem. Already lost someone a long time ago.

When Zootopia!Brok appears in the story, *SPOILER* happened that has destroyed his group of friends, his relation with Zootopia!Graff, and he's almost completely broken.
Only Lia (yeah, Zootopia!Lia's alive ) 's support saved him from falling in the despair event horizon.
At first, Brok doesn't care at all about what's happening, too broken.
But events (notably the ressurection of his relation with Graff ) lead to him pulling a He's Back and actively joining the investigation.
So, yeah, I'm going the reverse of the game here. The game drives him from half-broken to fully broken. I'll drive him from almost fully broken to unbroken.
