Haven't seen that episode, but I know that Maryland law considers it justifiable in certain circumstances to shoot an attacker with a knife if they get within seven yards. Because it's entirely possible fot the knife-wielder to close that gap and stab you to death before you can get a round off if you don't react as soon as they're within seven yards.

It's a good thing for them that Lamb most certainly came alone and there is definitely not someone right behind them in the cave they have their backs to.

The last two panels on the page:
The left one looks really intense, you can feel the speed, but the right one looks static in comparison, as if she stopped moving.
If it is still in a movement, I would also add some of the speed effects in the right panel.
A motion effect on the arm with the gun, a turning effect on the torso of the goat (if she turned a little) and a speed effect on the back of the pandas head (or behind what is shown).
Or to make it easier, the same effect from the left panel with its center on the guns tip.

I don't know if I'm reading too much into this, but she could have manifested any weapon she wanted, but she chose the very ones she used to free herself in the first place. Some traumas run deep, even in ways we can't consciously perceive.
