Jaguar, along with the Tokage Gata, Saru Gata, Konchuu Gata & Tori Gata, were the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th Kaiju Robots of the the Dark Horror Army Roster, the monsters appearing in Episode 9th of the Original Dino Mech Gaiking Anime, "The Mystery of the Nazca Geoglyphs".

_Appearance and Abilities_
Jaguar, Tokage, Saru, Konchuu and Tori were animal type Robots who briefly served as the first team up of the Zelan, though the Jaguar was the principle Monster one with the most screen time, operated by Lord Rongel, while the last 4 enter into action in the end and served to carry Dark Avian Soldiers, though were dispatch quickly by Yamagatake with his Bazolar, while Gaiking dealt with the Jaguar.

Jaguar (Jagaa): the principle of the 5 and with the most time on screen, was the Dark Horror Robot of Lord Rongel. It was far massive than Gaiking with an array of weapons, among them Fire Breath as well was capable to cause Sandstorms (note: it is possible this was a defense mechanism of the Zelan base under the desert, though this is not explain). It was the more anthropomorphic looking of the Five, standing upright with 2 arms and 2 legs. For hands it had claws, and rocket boosters for legs to achieve flight, with disk bases for feet, adorn by a row of spikes and three sharp claws; it's back sport Yellow/Black Black Wings, and had Jaguar head, cornered by white curved spikes on the shoulders. It sport a Red and Yellow color scheme. It was the last to be destroyed of the five at the hands of Gaiking with Paralyzer.

Saru Gata (Monkey Type): was a monkey theme Dark Horror Robot, it had a segmented curved thin body, with purple spikes on its back and a spiraling yellow tail ending in a blade like tip. It was mostly Brown in color, blue on top of its head, with a red face and big round ears, and yellow forearms and legs with blue colored fingers. It was capable of flight and a fire a red and pink Ring like pattern Laser beams from its eyes. It was the first to be taken down by Yamagatake with Bazolar Beam.

Tori Gata (Bird Shape): literally reveal at the last minute to exist as the Beasts are launched to face Gaiking, was the Bird Theme Dark Horror. It was mostly white with blue and red on its head. It had two white spike on next to its head, from which it fired a laser beam. Been a Bird type was capable of flight. It was dispatch 2nd by Yamagatake with Bazolar Beam.

Konchuu Gata (Insect Type): was the insect/spider theme Dark Horror Robot: it sport a predominantly Blue color scheme, with 8 Yellow Legs with Red outlines, an 8 pointed black star pattern around its head, sharp teeth on the mouth and was adorn with two yellow horns. It was capable of flight. It sport no other ability as it was taken out 3rd by Yamagatake with Bazolar Missiles.

Tokage Gata (Dark Lizard Monster): was a lizard lizard Dark Horror Robot, with a Dark Gray color scheme on the upside and a orange one underneath, with a green color face; it sport a large spike on its back. It was the only non flyer of the Five Dark Horrors, and fired a pink beam from the spike in its back. It was the last to be taken out Yamagatake with Bazolar Missiles, before Gaiking disposed of Jaguar and Rongel.

_History_
In the Nazca Plains of Peru, a team of Scientists, led by Dr. Koga, proceed to study the famous image desert carvings, ignoring the warnings from a local elder, fearful of the wrath of the Sky Gods; Dr. Koga finds in the foreign soil among the dirt samples some suspecting Aliens, but before he could go public with their findings, the entire team is swallowed by the ground that night, the event witness by the same elder who warned them.

The news of their disappearance makes it all the way to Japan, which shocks Yamagatake, who himself knew Professor Koga and owe him a great deal of gratitude, explaining the others it was him who straighten his life when he tried to robbed him after dealing with nothing but bad experiences when he first came to Tokyo and through him via his friend he discover and trained Sumo. While wanting to set out to search for him, Dr. Daimojin oppose it without any evidence; later however, Yamagatake's wish is granted after an earthquake struck the general area of the Nazca Plains with meteors been witness coming down the region – Jaguar flank by a group of Zelan Pods, but confused by the elder as their Gods – the Daiku Maryu takes off to Peru, their travel and direction is reported to Emperor Darius who orders anyone that dares to learn the secret of the Nazca Plains, must be executed, and the general leave to part the orders.

As the Daiku Maryu arrives, a Sandstorm hits the area; Yamagatake wanting to start searching for Dr. Koga, takes off on the Bazolar without permission, but due to the winds, lands so hard he is knocked out, Sakon tries to track him but soon discovers the Storm is jamming the radar; this when the Giant Dark Horror Robot Kaiju, Jaguar, appears and attacks the Daiku Maryu by releasing its Fire Attack on it, causing minor damage; this and unable to launch the Gaiking due to the storm, the ship retreats and dive into the sea, escaping from the Monster, the latter also retreats.

Meanwhile, Yamagatake awakens and sees the elder, learning from him what had unfolded on Dr. Koga's team when he sees Zelan pods landing and he investigates, discovering a cave entrance in where he finds a base, with new Dark Horror Kaiju already built and over hearing the bases commander, Lord Rongel, of the true purpose of the Nazca carvings, been plans for the new Kaiju, as well the fate of Dr. Koga and the others, having been already executed and their bodies displayed in pods.

As they board the monsters, Yamagatake takes off to to stop them, vowing to avenge Dr. Koga, but is discovered by the Zelans; he is shot, but manages to board the Bazolar and goes on the offensive, killing his Dark Avian pursuers and then launching an all out attack on the Base with Bazolar missiles; Rongel launches the Jaguar to repel Bazolar, but the Daiku Maryu arrives – not having heard of Yamagatake in a while – and the Gaiking is launched to fight the Beast to help him out, just as the rest of the Dark Horror Kaiju are launched to join the fray, surrounding Gaiking and attacking it with their sorties.

Seeing Sanshiro in trouble, Yamagatake joins the party and the two team up to take down the whole force: Bazolar blasting Saru and Tori with Bazolar Beam and finishing off the Konchuu and Tokage with Bazolar Beams. Sanshiro ends this Melee by disposing of Jaguar, and Rongel, with Paralyzer. The Base is destroyed in a chain reaction caused by Yamagatake's previous assault, ending any threat that could arise from it, having avenge the man he owe the most.

As they return home, Darius doesn't' take the news of the destruction of the Factory base well, threatening the Generals with death if more failure continues.
