I commissioned this from the very talented
o-kemono as a gift for
Fraisala.
He has also uploaded this piece, so please fav/comment it here.
It depicts a time that means a lot to us from earlier in our marriage. He did an excellent job with it and nicely captured us in his characteristic style. I don't actually have a specific anthro form, but this is basically a stylistic capturing of a real life scene with aspects of our inner selves showing. Frai's not much one for surprises, but thankfully she liked this one.
Here's the text I wrote to go with the picture:
Pass The Dutchie
It's been eight-and-a-half years since we moved into our first home together. We could barely scrape up the rent each month on our tiny apartment and couldn't afford much else, so we had to improvise a few things. In order to make the tap water drinkable, we'd mix it up with little packs of kool-aid in a milk jug. Then, passing it back and forth, we'd drink straight from the jug.
Things weren't always great back then. The days certainly had their share of pain. But one of my fondest memories is going out for walks at night, just the two of us, and making silly jokes about passing the dutchie on the left hand side.
I've spent a wonderful thirteen years with you, Frai, and I know that no matter what we face in the next thirteen, we'll have a hell of a lot of fun facing it.
