~~ Oren and the One-Eyed Wolf ~~
This 13-page side comic is set nebulously between the first and second volume of Oren’s Forge. In a dual narrative between Oren and Gristle, the One-Eyed Wolf, the story delves into the past and provides insight into the wolf pack, as well as Oren’s motivations for starting the Hollow. You can read it on Patreon, or grab the PDF on my ko-fi shop!

My best guess is Seral just put Red on the menu; desperate times...
While it's only one page, my first impression of Singer is that he is radiating cannibal vibes with a side of psychopathy; he seems overly analytical as well -- never-mind all the schemes behind his expression. Requiring the meeting at dusk is suspicious as well; Seral might be on the menu, or his pack is.
The expressions are marvelous and communicate the mind of the characters in a way not often seen in graphic novels.

I don't really think so. Seral was saying "sure that can balance out one old wolf and ..." but he was cut off, so the rest could have been "one cripple". Was on the same page that Seral and Gristle would throw Red under the bus, but after reading it again I have that feeling that Seral's proposal included Red as well.
We can only wait for next page for further insight on what the deal was. But I fear that Red is on the kill list and possibly Swift and her pups too. The new pack does not need a "previous Alpha Wolf and her pups" that could scramble the hiarchy.
