In the story I'm writing, called "Shine in your Eyes," Relia, the female polar bear, tries to take her own life by going into the sea. When she was submerged, she feels a hand that wakes her from the trance and begins to swim to the surface, with almost no air in her lungs. On the surface, she is met by some Chakat lifeguards who greet her and help her get to the beach.
