A silver phase red fox girl, sitting in a patch of clover in the morning mist - looking cute ^.^
I'm kindof flip-flopping between the more feral anthros, and the more human ones - this one is more feral, obviously =).
I love silver phase red foxes - they are also greatly underrepresented in furry art..
Inked with microns and then painted with acrylics on 5"x7" illustration board.

I'm not one for going all googly-eyed at pictures, but this one deserves a resounding "Dawww!"
Her position is so natural, and really adds to the overall innocence of the picture, not even considering the inherant cuteness which comes with that semi-feral form.
Odd as it sounds, I think the nose looks very good on this peice! Very beepable. * Beeps *

Such exquisite detail on the fur in this picture, really giving an impression of volume and texture to this vulpine. =3
Also the background almost has a touch of the Monet's about it, with it's subtle fade in of the lighter shades of colour and the near-Impressionist quality to the brush strokes applied.
Brilliant effort yet again Kacey! =D

Understandable. My brother is an art major, and he gets assigned drawings that are massive in size (like 28x40 or something, usually bristol paper), so I was a little surprised at the size at first. Of course, the smaller the brush, the easier it is to make kickass details like the fur and background X3
Speaking as someone who has a silver fox character I can tell you the reason why they're so under represented. People hate the black face and tummy combo. I dunno, kinda makes them look like a negative I guess. I'll also be the first to admit it can be a pain in the butt to color.
