Green smiled. "Th-this is my home"
"It's beautiful! This is where you live? How? Oh Green! I'm sorry!" Buttercup helped the tired pegasus to his hooves.
"Let's go inside, I have another surprise for you!"
Earlier that morning:
The cobalt pegasus looked dubiously at his son. "You are giving her that for Hearts and Hooves day?"
Green smiled proudly as he finished his work. "Yep!" He closed the top of the picnic basket he had just loaded.
"She will appreciate this?"
"Definitely! especially considering what happened last year. I think she will really like these! All I need is a nice bow on top..."
"Green, I think you might be running a tad late for your date. Since you are bringing her up here anyways, lets make this her big surprise above the clouds? Honeyfeather is great at tying bows, I think she will add the last special touch to this..."
Green gasped. "Wow I didn't realize how late it was, I hope she isn't waiting for me!" In a flash, Green grabbed his picnic basket, and soon he had vanished from the house.
"Oh, Honey, could I have a little help, please?" Green's father called. Soon a Sky grey mare entered the room.
"So, Cobalt, what is our little stallion up to? Oh! Really?" She looked into the contents of the box. "Why would she want these?"
Cobalt explained the gift.
"Well, at least it is well thought out."
"I am clueless when it comes to stuff like this. You should know..." Cobalt nuzzled his wife. "I just don't want to see my colt crash and burn..."
"Well, maybe we can help a little, get those out of their boxes, and a little folding... There!"
Cobalt looked at what they had done. "How do you do things like this? That is why I hired you!"
"And you married me so that you didn't have to pay me anymore!" She nuzzled him.
"Keeps you out of the grimy hooves of any of my competitors!" He nuzzled her. "And firmly in my grimy hooves!"
Honeyfeather giggled. "We aren't finished here yet, there is one last detail we need to add. And for that we need your speed, and bits..."
Cobalt sighed. "I knew there was a catch! What would you have me do, my queen?" He bowed before his wife.
Green smiled. "Th-this is my home"
