Lineart of my Degenesis character San (Santiago).
Story:
The first thing the young man felt was the cold, all-embracing darkness, followed by hot burning pain that flooded through his whole body. He wanted to scream but the only sound that left his lips was quickly choked by the frozen mass, used to preserve his body. Slowly it started to warm up, turning into a jellylike substance, sending even more pain into the body of the man.
It took only seconds but for the man it felt like hours until the cell opened and dropped its contents onto the cold metal floor, covering it with preservation gel. The naked body still covered by the slippery mass shivered uncontrollably. The young man whimpered, a vague sound of agony, pain beyond imagination. His legs and arms started wincing with short spasms. He did not dare to move and tried to lay still in hope the pain would flatten down to a bearable level.
Somewhere in the room a neon tube flickered into life and the soft humming of working computers could be heard. The machines were checking the systems and had started the evacuation sequence on the cryo-cell of the young man. The five cryo-cells near by were still operating, closed like nothing had happend, keeping the human bodies they contained in stasis.
“Good morning Mr. Santiago Ruiz Lorca.” The female voice greeting the man answered, false and to loud in his ears. Who was Santiago Ruiz Lorca? Was he Santiago? He didn’t remember. His memory was blank like a white sheet of paper once filled with wonderful words, now all erased. He knew there must have been something but he could not get hold of it.

Santiago is a human character of mine and one of the main characters in Post-Apocalyptic story about Darìon.
His story takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, were most big towns are destroyed an modern Tech is rare. He lives in former spain who mostly got overrun and conquered by tribes from the south. Only a small part of Spain still is in the hand of the Spanish people (Madrid and suroudings mostly).
Santiago originaly was born in Spain and is a so called "Sleeper", a person that was put into cryo sleep (for research purpos) in a time bevor the cataclysm destroyed most civilisation on earth. Santiago has therefore a big knowlege about Tech, especially helicopters and air planes, cause he was in the military as pilot of Black Hawk like helis.
Santiago is reckless and he flys where others would not dare to go. He does not care if he can be killed while doing so as long as he is the best.
