These mechs almost remind me of Armored Core. A video game that has battle mechanics that you can customize into deadly killing machines, lol. Especially the yellowish-green one with the twin guns and radar system.

The one on the left is actually a Playmates Toys "Robotech Exo Squad" Battloid radar mech. I'm pretty sure Playmates just mashed two giant robot property names together to sell some random mech toys they had, since Robotech was the english name of the Macross anime and Exo Squad was a 90's action cartoon, and that toy doesn't look like any mecha from either show (well, it kind of looks like some of the mechs from Exo Squad, but not quite)

The proper term for non-transformable mecha in the RDF would be known as Destroids, they were pretty much red shirts for the Zentraedi to pick off, the battloids were the transformable mecha, the Destroid you have in this picture is the Defender, so radar mech is a pretty weak name.
