Yea, he doesn't go for super long hikes. So a backpack is sufficient to hold what he needs. Easy to take off and set aside if he feels the urge to frolic about somewhere.
When he is at work, maintaining the grounds at the local airport, he's all kitted out to hold all the tools and supplies. So I'd be all in favor of having you draw something like that in the future. I've even had some concepts drawn in the past that I could give you for inspiration.
