Hardworking and responsible, Allen and Mary do their best to act as role models for Jason. But, the move to Miami was far from easy, especially since he has become secluded and aloof. Allen especially has tried to spend a lot of time with him when he's not working or Jason isn't out, mostly because he feels guilt in making the decision to move here. Besides that, he remains assertive with most decisions, though asks for help from Mary when needed. Mary herself can do just well directing Jason in the right direction, reflecting her compassionate personality and making a healthy balance in parental roles with Allen. She often has long conversations with Jason about all kinds of topics that pique his interest and expresses her views on most when appropriate, but always lets him choose his own. As for living in Miami, they find it moderately comfortable and don't find too much trouble beyond life in Plymouth, though Allen did appreciate his previous employment with the Kindlite Corporation being more hands-on and Mary preferred the quieter small-town life. But even if they are confronted with challenges and don't always see eye to eye, they remain respectful people and, most importantly, loving parents.
