While this dish might look good, I would still say this is a work in progress and I'll come to why in a moment.
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 garlic cloves
shake of red pepper flakes
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
salt and pepper to taste
(made this twice - one for the glaze, one for the sauce)
18-22 bag of fresh shrimp
chopped green onions
1 box of spaghetti
With the first batch of sauce - that is your marinade, so let your shrimp get coated in the sauce and set aside.
While that is marinating in your refrigerator, cook the pasta to al dente; then get a large saucepan on your stovetop to medium high, and sauté your shrimp with a neutral oil until almost pink; then add in the cooked spaghetti, along with your shrimp and the rest of the sauce.
Add in the green onions, and serve!
The reason why I say that this is still a work in progress is that, even though the ginger and garlic work well in the dish - it also needs a 'sour' element to really balance this. So I would add in either 2 tsp lemon juice or mirin.
At any rate enjoy :B
