Well, at least it seems that Ben won’t have to worry about his parents finding out he was trying on cute clothes. Though for the moment, it looks like the knowledge that his parents know and are willing to let him experiment might be a bit more embarrassing for him than if they didn’t!
As for Flame Star’s outfit being slightly different, this is due to the outfit that Ben was wearing before the transformation causing some minor variations to Flame Star’s own clothing.

What a joy to see Flame Star again!! It's a shame not to have seen her in her alternate outfit (with some hints of Pink, and perhaps, a prettier skirt). But, the important thing here is that Ben's parents understand what he's going through and support him.
PS: what would the interaction between Flame Star and Mrs. Tennyson be like? I guess it would be like a mother with a curious, hyperactive and optimistic daughter.
