So! Decided to bow to peer pressure from my good friends at
albertafurries after making the Bob-Omb icon and did this. Yes, indeedy, this was once just another Bob-Omb candy holder. But! One sanding, four strategic lumps of air-dry clay and umpteen coats of paint later, VOILA!!
This is, if nothing else, a very clear indicator that I have far too much time on my hands. :P
Also, it's full of plastic pellets to keep the tail from tipping it back.

The clay is actually labelled as "modelling paste" and is of the variety you need to use water with. And sanded down enough, it actually stuck ridiculously well once I started. As for time-consumption, I had originally intended to spray-paint this white first, THEN paint on the other stuff. The reason I didn't is because a cold snap just ended where I am, so I can't go out and work in the garage because the paint wouldn't set up right, hence the hand painting for this little bugger. If I did these as commissions, I'd be doing a lot of spraying them first.
