Did you know that Steve is also a licensed pilot? He also used to be in the air force in his early military days, which is where he learned how to handle fighter jets, but only later in life decided to get his pilot's license. And I figured he wanted to take the plane from the airfield out for a spin to enjoy the sweet feeling of his retirement from the military. Or maybe Nick and Fred are in the back of the plane waiting to jump out? I'm sure he'd be willing to drop them off over the airfield.
