Cripto tells a flashback story from his messed-up childhood and adolescence, in which the extremely bratty and hateful cousin of Louis the Merciless, known only as Loopy, steals one of the old Bendraqi's inventions (a shock gun), and then forces Cripto to do a world record-tying high dive in the hopes it will end with the tiger's death; whether it would have been a suicide or not remains debatable. However, this was just after Cripto first got his superpowers, and so he was able to change up the scenario to his advantage.
Sadly, whereas Louis met his death three years later, Loopy died the very next day, showing that CNG really was responsible for so many things.
