Tun Yun Lein Pen was the 14th Dark Horror Kaiju who was the Monster of the week in the 10th Episode of the original Dino Mech Gaiking anime; "Skylar's Death Jump".

_Appearance and Abilities_
Tun Yun Lein Pen was a serpentine robot Kaiju akin to the mythical Chinese Dragons, however possessing of two legs and red wings, with two black horns spikes across the snout. It possess a brown, dark gray, red and yellow color scheme.

Besides flight, Tun Yun Lein Pen could fire destructive red electric beams from its eyes once it had fed on the electric charge of thunder clouds, breath Red Fire from the mouth and fire missiles from it as well. It was piloted by the Dark Knight Stiger.

_History_
Tun Yun Lein Pen was built in secret by the Zelans on the island of Feng Lei, in the bay of Honk Kong, in the visage of a local legend about a Dragon having been imprisoned by the philosopher Confucius. In its first test run under the piloting of the Zelan Knight Stiger, it torn the island and devour the clouds over the city, unleashing a thunder over sections of Hong Kong, causing destruction.

Back in Japan, Fan Li learns of the passing of his Judo master, Tasaburo Unno 10th Dan, had passed away. Wanting to pay respect to his master, Fan Li, travels to Honk Kong on the Skylar, along with Sanshiro and Hachiro – this would also serve as opportunity to investigate the Thunder storms that had hit the area, however this comes to the knowledge of the Zelans, who prepare for them.

As they arrive, they see the level of devastation of the thunder strikes, rooting out been natural phenomenon – during this time, Fan Li gives a bit of detail about his past, how he met Unno and challenge him, and was subsequently defeated by the Master with his no touch throw, as well been Unno how introduced him to Dr. Daimojin. Once after landing and paying his respects to his mentor, Fan Li learns that it was a thug and old rival named Long Xuan who had murdered Master Unno while sick - the thug searching for Fan Li, seeking revenge for losing in a fight long ago, thus using his Master's death as means to drag him back. He then receives a letter from Long, challenging him at Mt. Jiu Tou Long as dusk, Fan Li seeking revenge accepts and goes with Sanshiro and Hachiro.

Along the way, Fan Li thinks to have seeing his missing brother San Li, but loses the person among the crowd. Later at the site, Fan Li and his friends meet up with Long Xuan only to have fallen in a trap, surrounded by a group of his henchmen – as Fan Li fights with Long Xuan, Sanshiro takes care of the lackeys, discovering in the fight they held Guns of Zelan design, letting their identity of the other fiends out. Realizing the ploy, the heroes escape and report to the Daiku Maryu of the Zelan presence and they take off to rendezvous with the others and deal with the Zelans.

While in hiding, Fan Li provides more on his background, such the murder of his father at the hands of Long's men, the death of his mother, the loss of his Brother to misfortune, his life of delinquency and how he got his revenge from Long Xuan after the latter had join Martial Arts fights. Suddenly one of Long's men's leaves a note, letting Fan Li know he holds his brother and demands him see him at Jiu Tou Temple this time.

Fan Li makes to the temple, now surrounded by Dark Avian Soldiers, however, these are taken down by Sanshiro and Hachiro, but to their dismay, Stiger appears holding San Li at gun point. Fan tries to make sense into Long about the Aliens, but the latter responds his willingness to make a deal with the devil if it means defeating him. Sanshiro drops the weapon and Stiger lowers to get it but is attacked by Sanshiro while Fan Li beats the other thugs and deals with Long Xuan. In the ensuing fight, both Pilots defeat their Enemies – as the Li Brothers run towards each other, but Stiger mortally shoots San Li by mistake, and escapes before Sanshiro could kill him, the MC going after the Zelan.

After San Li's death, Sanshiro, now on Gaiking, faces Stinger on the Tun Yun Lein Pen, but despite his attempts, he is beaten by the enemy's electric shock attack. Before he could finish Gaiking, Fan Li joins the fight on Skylar, seeking revenge for his brother's death, yet Skylar is no match for the Dragon; Sanshiro uses Saur Geyser, blasting a hole through the Monster – this allowed Fan Li to fire Missiles into it which causes a chain reaction destroying it; the Tun Yun Lein Pen crashes and explode on impact.

Having avenged the deaths of San Li (as well Master Unno), Fan Li leaves Hong Kong on the Daiku Maryu, throwing a Bouquet of Flowers in the bay's waters in their memory.
