Dear Diary,

The beauty of working in Europe is the wide range of holiday available. Italy isn't Northern Europe but four weeks is still more than I ever had on the other side of the Atlantic. With my working visa I can go anywhere in the Schengen Area, but I wanted to go somewhere with more sunshine this time.

Since I'm dragging Vikki with me I wanted to stay in "Europe" for the sake of her paperwork so I looked into Réunion Island. Sadly they're not Schengen, but they have a simplified entry requirement to and from France. I hope the poor vixen can adjust to Business Class.
