Sounds like a run-in I had with a Bop It years ago. I got so far one time, it was going so fast that it sounded like it couldn't make up its mind. I swore I heard "twist it...pull it...bo...I mean flick it..."
Then I said, "toss it", and tossed it into a nearby dumpster out of frustration. >_>
