I woke up one morning only to hear a knocking on my door as I put my English muffin in the toaster. I went to answer the door and I see Vexorum, having turned into a smol chibi derg, sitting in a box on the front porch, with a scroll inside. He looked like he wanted to play, and how could I refuse with an adorable face like that?

On the scroll were instructions for taking care of Vex, and it read…

“How to care for Vexorum the Chibi:

Please allow Vex to snack on whatever he likes, as he does not mind what he is offered. In addition, allow Vex to grow as big as he likes. We are not responsible for property damage caused by growth, much rather we encourage it.”

I was puzzled by this note, but it seemed that Vex still wanted to play a lot, as I heard the toaster finish. I let Vex follow me into the kitchen, as he saw my partner Chronos sleeping in the other room…

Well this may be a short story that may get continued sometime in the future, but having seen Vex’s new form last week, I was excited to draw him once more, even if I have done it a lot lately. What can I say? I can’t thank him enough for essentially closing the lid on my mental dark ages. This will also be my last drawing before Macro March, so get excited, since we have many bigs coming.
