Before their exile "Orthrus" Magnus Vulpes was seen by the people as a sign of their rising empire's power. A painting was commissioned drawn from the fear that many a raider from savage land spoke of them as. They were the rider of a red horse wielding a flaming sword come to smite them. A beast of briar flesh and molten eyes staring out beneath a steel casket bolted to their body. To those that saw the blade swinging and survived its wrath they were a monster amongest men sent to wipe them all from the face of the earth.
To her own people however she was hope. When she was banished she left a mark that could not be removed on their hearts. Though Orthrus would never lay eyes upon it, a statue would later be made of a figure in snarling armor to match the painting.

OP
Late reply woops! Yes it is a thermal blade called a "Spatha" the faction she served made them to duel raiders with shishkebabs. No fuel source or line, its battery powered so cutting the enemy's fuel line or revving your blade after hitting against the enemy's blade could often result in the enemy swordsman being burned if not much worse by their own gear. I will eventually get a comm of a few different "spatha" designs to show them off, like the Thermal Maul.
