Description:
Skye Cockapoo and Chase Alsatian had been together since they were young orphans, the same went for the third, Ryan "Ryder" O'Kelly the Monkey. While Skye and Chase proved to be capable fighters and scavengers, Ryder was a born sufferer whose serious illness prevented him from going into much physical activity, forcing the monkey to rely more on two dogs. Regardless, Skye and Chase cared for Ryder in return, and would never leave him in danger unless he was in a spot where they could put him in safety and pick him up later. Following the destruction of their orphanage, they hadn't found a comfortable home until they stopped by the humble town of Adventure Bay in Southwestern Canada. They stayed and grew up there until the first week of 2022, when an earthquake sunk Adventure Bay into a sea, causing a large tsunami to strike over its surrounding areas, including Victoria Island and the US State of Washington.

As dozens of survivors of a completely destroyed town such as Skye, Chase and Ryder were transported into Santo Tomas in California, among willing citizens was the newly known North Family (hailed from the United Kingdom) who showed up to tend to the survivors' needs. The young duo, named Samson and Simeon North, took pity on Ryder's physical condition and brought the three in their manor for a week, until the North brothers could find a suitable home for them. However, the sight of soldiers stationed at the bay caused a sight of suspicion from the trio. The situation further worsened when the word confirmed that the earthquake came out unnaturally, giving out an impression that there was a heavily strong bomb deliberately placed underneath.

And there came the rumors that the joint military training between the United States and Canada agitated a radical group in Cascadia and prompted them to steal the American-made bomb and plant it inside a Canadian town, in hopes of sparkling a military conflict between the two large nations. Apparently, some vulpine archer named Robin Erwington Hood III (who was already discharged as a Super Soldier back in 2021) had made an accidental discovery while hosting a hunting party in Foggy Bottom, a rundown yet living town nearby the remains of Adventure Bay. There was a ravine serving as a secret base for the notorious radical Cascadian group, called the Double Dougs. Following this, the Canadian army started hunting down on the Double Dougs across the Cascadian region, as well as other Cascadian movements (let one be moderate, liberal, conservative or even another radical), all despite wanting nothing to do with the Double Dougs, especially over some horrifyingly disgusting act against some harmless town. However, no one anticipated the Double Dougs to be as big as the temporary Crisa Breek empire of beavers, as the former unveiled large amounts of vehicles and ammunitions stolen from various bases in both the United States and Canada, as well as having produced them on mass.

The remaining survivors of Adventure Bay were left horrified, but Skye, Chase and Ryder were filled with disgust and determination, seeking justice against the Double Dougs in one way or another. Samson and Simeon North decided to help them take back on the Double Dougs, especially when having been inspired by their older brother Christopher who had become a Super Soldier back in 2020. Besides signing Skye and Chase up for the MALAKAS Project, the North brothers also had Ryder form a new, small but effective force, dubbed the 'PAW Patrol', stationed at the other side of Mt. Tingganda, away from the mountain base (the main operation of the MALAKAS Project) and its nearby lab. Ryder on the other hand, due to his condition, could never join the project and would instead remain in the newly built headquarters, though that wouldn't stop him from manning any vehicle he chose.

However, due to the project's policy and rules, both Skye and Chase would have to spend few months training in the mountain base until they would get an honorable discharge. Even if they wished to become instructors, that would only extend their stay to one year. So Samson and Simeon opted to negotiate with both their father Benjamin (who was also the mayor of Santo Tomas), Chris and the project's higher-ups to persuade them to change the policy, while Skye and Chase had to train as hard as they could, before they could get properly dispatched to take on the Double Dougs.

As for the trio, Skye began perfecting speed and agility in combat, Chase doubled his training to power up his strength and offense, and Ryder started adding extensions to their headquarters, such as the living quarters, the training room, and the kitchen. Ryder was even provided with some tech from the mountain lab to help the PAW Patrol, some tech like airplanes, choppers, tanks and even hovercrafts. As progress went further, Skye applied masculine strength to her fighting styles in order to follow the Super Soldier procedure, and Chase settled for a balance between brute force and clear perception. Weapon wise, Skye proved to be rather indecisive in choosing a weapon of choice for herself, let alone a single steel airplane propeller, though she liked a jetpack more, while Chase quickly picked up a small arsenal consisting of a pair of nightsticks, a riot shield, a flashbang, a pair of pistols, a shotgun and a taser.

It then passed on to November 2022, where despite having looked over dozens of recruits and gone ahead against the radical Double Dougs, no progress was made for the duo and it was one month before the end of their end. On the positive side though, Ryder had recruited a dozen members for the PAW Patrol from numerous areas that Skye and Chase could reach. Futhermore, Benjamin North had decided that, although he failed to persuade his fellow higher-ups to change the policy, he decided make his children and their associates (in this case Samson and Simeon and the PAW Patrol) an exception to that policy. Naturally, those higher-ups had heard the word and had an outcry, but couldn't do anything to oppose Benjamin, let alone facing his son Chris who, to remind them, was another Super Soldier with the Juggernaut ability.

Although excited to hear that annoucement, the PAW Patrol had no time for celebration as the Double Dougs had recognized Santo Tomas as their main source of serious opposition and threat, and gone straight down into California, ravaging through the Pacific Coast until they met the PAW Patrol, literally at the mountain base.
