*The next day, 8:00 AM*

Just-Kon: (shouting) “Come on, Haydn. Are you ready?”

Haydn: *in his guest bedroom* “Yeah, one sec.” *opens the door* “Alright, let’s go.”

Just-Kon: *starts receiving a call through his helmet* ; *answers it* “Hello?” *Vane, the captain of the Royal Guard responds*

Vane: “Hey, Just-Kon. It’s me, Vane. Are you busy right.”

Just-Kon: “Oh hey, Vane. We were just about to head off on a mission. What’s up?”

Vane: “So uh, we’ve got a situation at one of the warp stations.”

Just-Kon: “What’s the problem?”

Vane: “We received a transmission from security that says that there’s this weirdo tampering with one of the dimensional warp pads. The person who sent the transmission said that the security guards and the police tried to stop him, but he was too strong. So, we may need your help here.”

Just-Kon: “One of the dimensional warp pads? Ok, we’ll be right there. Assemble some of the troops.”

Vane: “Yes, sir!” *hangs up*

Haydn: “Just-Kon, what’s wrong?”

Just-Kon: “One of the warp stations is under attack. Vane has gathered some members of the Royal Guard to help.”

Haydn: “But what about the people we need to recruit?”

Just-Kon: “Forget about it for now. Right now, we’ve got a bigger issue to handle.”

*Later at the warp station*

[Just-Kon, Haydn, and Vane along with some royal soldiers arrive at the entrance. As they walk in, they can see some of the attacked security staff lying on the floor.]

Royal Guard Gunner 1: *says “My god, who would do this?” in Skycloudian*

[A scream echoed from down the corridor.]

Vane: *signaled everyone to move forward*

[At the end of the corridor, everyone hid against the wall.]

Just-Kon: *peeks from the corridor*

[Some citizens being held hostage were huddled up against the wall. On the other side of the room, a man can be seen tampering with the dimensional warp pad’s computer. The man wore black clothes and a red hat, and had pale skin.]

Mysterious Man: *turns around*

Just-Kon: *hides back in the corridor with an unnerved look on his face* “Oh no, not this guy again.”

Haydn: “What is it, Just-Kon?”

Vane: “Is it that Dale 85 guy again?”

Just-Kon: “Yes, it is.”

Haydn: “I’m sorry, who?”

Royal Guard Gunner 1: *says “Yeah, who is this Dale 85 weirdo?” in Skycloudian*

Vane: *turns and looks up the guard* ; *says “Stroud, zip it!” in Skycloudian* ; *does a gesture where he zips his mouth closed*

Stroud: (in an embarrassed voice) *says “Sorry, sir.” in Skycloudian* ; *gets back into his original position against the wall*

Vane: *turns back to Haydn and Just-Kon* “Sorry about him, he’s new here.”

Just-Kon: *looks at Haydn* “Ok, so a few weeks ago, I encountered this strange man named Dale. He was using one of the dimensional warp pads illegally, so I had no choice but to fight him. I was able to neutralize him and take him into custody, but he was able to escape shortly after. One week later, Dale was spotted again, except that it was a different version of him-”

Haydn: “There are other versions of this guy!?”

Just-Kon: “Apparently so. As I was saying, this version of Dale was known as Dale 85, which is exactly who is in that room, messing with the dimensional warp pad.”

Haydn:”Vane said that Dale 85 was too strong, right? Like, how strong are we talking?”

Just-Kon: “His attacks are strong enough to overpower someone in full shadownite armor.”

Haydn: “Good Lord! Are you serious?”

Just-Kon: “I’m not kidding. When me and the guards found him doing the same thing to another dimensional warp pad, he killed everyone except me and one other guard. We both managed to get Dale 85 to at least flee and stop whatever he was about to do that dimensional warp pad.”

Haydn: “Did you encounter any more Dale variants after that?”

Just-Kon: “Yes, but that’s not important right now. What’s important is trying to stop Dale 85.” *peeks his head out of the corridor and observes Dale 85*

Dale 85: *typing on the dimensional warp pad’s computer while humming something*

Haydn: *whispers to Just-Kon* “What’s he doing?”

Just-Kon: *whispers* “I think he’s hacking the dimensional warp pad’s computer.”

Haydn: “What do you think he even wants with the warp pads?”

Just-Kon: “I don’t know.” *looks towards the captive citizens* ; *waves at them*

Citizens: *notice Just-Kon in a chain reaction* ; *some of them gasp a little*

Just-Kon: *opens his visor* ; *puts his finger up to his lips, giving them a gesture telling them to be quiet* ; *says “Don’t worry, we’re gonna get y’all out of here. Just act natural.” silently in Skycloudian*

Citizens: *some nod in approval and all of them go back to their previous behavior*

Just-Kon: *looks back at Dale 85*

[The dimensional warp pad suddenly turned red, except for the shadow crystals that were on the pillars.]

Dale 85: *turns around*

Just-Kon: *hides back into the corridor* ; *closes his visor* “He just made the dimensional warp pad turn red! What the hell is he doing to it?”

Dale 85: “And now, one more step: Replace the shadow crystals with these red ones.”

Haydn: “Does anyone have a plan?”

Just-Kon: *notices that a darkimp stood up in front of the crowd with a rock in his hand and was getting ready to throw it at Dale 85* ; *tries to get his attention, but it was too late*

Darkimp: *throws the rock at the back of Dale 85’s head*

Dale 85: *sharply turns around* “Who threw that?!”

Darkimp: *gets a nervous look on his face and then gulps*

Dale 85: *unleashes his P.I.R.A.C.Y attack*

Just-Kon: *dashes in and blocks the attack with his darkrune deflector shield*

Dale 85: *notices Just-Kon* “You!”

Just-Kon: *turns to the citizens* ; *yells “Go! Go now!” in Skycloudian*

Citizens: *start running into the corridor*

[Hadyn and Vane, along with the guards, step out of the corridor to confront Dale 85. They all draw their weapons.]

Just-Kon: *puts down the deflector shield* “Dale 85. As the former king of Skycloud, I command you to cease all dimensional warp pad activity and leave this island immediately.”

Dale 85: “And what if I don’t?”

Just-Kon: “You will either be arrested if you refuse, or terminated if you choose to fight us.”

Haydn: “Yeah, get lost, Buster!”

Dale 85: “OOOOOOOhoohoohoohoo! Someone’s being pirating. Maybe the others can find out what to do with all of you once I’m done.”

Vane: “What exactly are you intending to do to this dimensional warp pad?”

Dale 85: “None of your concern, small fry. I don’t usually like to talk to people that are the size of a teddy bear.”

Vane: *drops his halberd and squares up* “What did you just call me!? How about we brawl it out and then we can really see who the teddy bear is in this situation!”

[Vane attempted to try and charge at Dale 85, but was grabbed by Just-Kon.]

Just-Kon: *trying to restrain Vane* “Vane, calm down!”

Vane: *trying to resist* ; *yells “Let go of me!” in Skycloudian* ; *eventually calms down*

Dale 85: *turns around and walks up the steps to the red dimensional warp pad* “Although let’s just say that once I replace the shadow crystals with these, you will be outnumbered.” *pulls out one of the red crystals from his pocket*

[Just-Kon drops Vane. Vane immediately recovers and picks his halberd back up.]

Just-Kon: “Dale 85, this is your last chance. Leave, or die.”

Dale 85: “And not get what I want? I think not.”

Just-Kon: “Fine. If death is what you choose, so be it!” *pulls out his sword*

Haydn: “Come on, guys! Get him!”

Vane: *barks “Melee, attack!” in Skycloudian* ; *closes his helmet*

[Everyone charges towards Dale 85.]

Dale 85: *sprays red mist at them*

Just-Kon: “Look out!” *puts up his 360 deflector shield around himself*

[Everyone else ducks down except for the gunners, who were standing on the far side of the room.]

Dale 85: “Heh, that should delay some of them.” *climbs the first pillar*

Vane: “Don’t breathe it in! It can be both good or bad! That includes you, Haydn!”

Haydn: *tastes the mist* “It’s actually not that bad, at least for me. In fact, it feels like it’s kinda healing me.”

Vane: “Regardless, don’t breathe it in, ever! Not even our armor can protect us!” *turns over to the gunners that were ready to shoot* ; *yells “Gunners, open fire!” in Skycloudian*

[The gunners start shooting at Dale 85, causing some damage.]

Dale 85: *places down the first red crystal* ; *flinches from some of the gunshots* “Oh, piss off!” *uses his P.I.R.A.C.Y attack on the gunners*

[All of the gunners dodge out of the way except for one. When the attack struck the unlucky gunner, he trembled and began to start laughing insanely. The red mist dissipated.]

Dale 85: *climbs the second pillar*

Haydn: *throws one of his shadownite hammers at Dale 85’s head, causing a critical hit*

Dale 85: *falls off the pillar and tumbles down the stairs of the dimensional warp pad*

Haydn: *reaches his hand out as the hammer comes back to him.* “Is that all you got?”

Dale 85: *leaps out at Haydn*

Haydn: *dodge rolls out of the way and hit him in the back with his hammer*

Dale 85: *leaps out again*

Haydn: *jumps over him and then stomps on him*

Dale 85: *grabs his leg, supplexes him, and then bites him on the back*

Haydn: “Ow!”

[One of the royal guards threw her spear at Dale 85’s back. Dale 85 flinched and then looked at the guard. The spear came back to her. Dale 85 tried to scratch her, but the guard kept blocking him with her spear.]

Just-Kon: *reappeared right behind Dale 85 and did a great slash with his sword*

Dale 85: *turns around and sprays him in the face with red mist* ; *climbs the second pillar and places the second red crystal*

[The gunners opened fire on him once again. Dale 85 sprayed red mist at them. Some of the gunners started coughing blood while some were completely fine. The gunner that got hit by the P.I.R.A.C.Y attack eventually stopped laughing and was back to normal.]

Dale 85: *jumps to the next pillar and then places the third red crystal* ; *does the same thing with the fourth red crystal*

Vane: *wall jumps across the pillars with his large halberd* ; *slashes Dale 85 in the face*

Dale 85: *falls backwards off the pillar*

Vane: *divebombs him*

Dale 85: *uses his P.I.R.A.C.Y attack*

Vane: *deflects the attack with his halberd*

Dale 85: *became stunned and went flying*

Vane: *barrages him from all over the place*

Dale 85: *grabs Vane by the leg and throws him hard at the dimensional warp pad computer, damaging it*

Vane: *loses consciousness a little bit, but then quickly dodges Dale 85’s bone breaker attack*

[An error screen shows up on the now smashed computer. The dimensional warp pad starts to malfunction and activate on its own. It shot a beacon into the sky, opening a giant portal in the sky. Everyone looks up in shock to see the giant portal gaze down at the city. Dale 85, distracted as well, did not notice Haydn running up from behind and smashing him in the face with one of his hammers.]

Dale 85: *quickly recovers*

[A guard tries to attack Dale 85 with a spear.]

Dale 85: *dodges the spear and then stuns the guard in the gut with his bone breaker attack*

[The guard falls to the floor in pain.]

Haydn: *throws one of his hammers at Dale 85*

Dale 85: *sprays red mist in his face*

Haydn: *starts coughing blood*

Dale 85: *climbs the fifth pillar and places the fifth red crystal, resisting the energy being radiated from the shadow crystal* “One to go.” *looks at the last pillar and jumps onto it* ; *digs into his pocket for the last red crystal, except that he finds that the crystal is gone* “Where is the god damn crystal!?”

Vane: “Oi!”

Dale 85: *turns to Vane, who is standing on the pillar that he last stood on* “What?”

Vane: “Looking for this?” *reveals the red crystal in his hand*

Dale 85 (with a crazed look on his face): “Give me that!” *starts chasing after him*

Vane: *dashes and wall jumps all over the place, trying to avoid Dale 85* ; *throws the crystal to somewhere on the dimensional warp pad*

Dale 85: *Sees the direction where the crystal was thrown* “Haha!” *dives after it* ; *looks around, but can’t find it* “Huh? Where’d it go?”

Just-Kon: *appears right behind Dale 85 and impales his back with his sword*

Dale 85: “AAAAAAARRRG!”

Just-Kon: *throws Dale 85 up in the air* “Now, Haydn!”

Haydn: *jumps up and uses his hammers to launch Dale 85 into the active portal*

Dale 85 (screaming): “CURSE YOUUUUU!” *disappears into the portal*

Haydn: *lands on his feet*

Just-Kon: *turns to Haydn* “Hey, you ok?”

Haydn: “Yeah, I’m fine. Still recovering from that-” *starts coughing blood again*

[An alarm starts blaring from the damaged computer.]

Dimensional Warp Pad Computer: “Warning: Reactor core instability supercritical! Initiating self destruct!”

Haydn: *still coughing* “What?”

Just-Kon: “Vane, get the crystals! Everyone else, get out of here! This thing’s gonna blow!”

Vane: *gathered the five red crystals* “Do you still have that other one?”

Just-Kon: “Yes, now let’s go!”

[Everyone, including the guards, ran through the corridor. They reached the outside and were met with a loud boom behind them.]
