[The building crumbled as the dimension warp pad exploded. Everyone was in shock at what just happened.]
Just-Kon (lying on the ground): “Is everyone ok? *pants*”
Haydn (lying down): “Never better.”
Vane (lying down): *turns over on his back and looks up at the portal still in the sky* ; *notices something* “Uhh, your highness?”
Just-Kon: *sits up* “What is it?” *looks up at the portal to see something strange happen*
[Several balls of light spew out of the portal and fall to different locations on the island. One however, was heading towards them.]
Just-Kon: *turns to everyone else* “Run!”
[Everyone ran as fast as they could. The comet crashed, but it didn’t hit anyone. Everyone stopped. They turned around to look at the crater and then the portal which was now shrinking. The portal shrunk until it disappeared.]
Just-Kon: *looks back at the crater* ; *turns to the civilians that ran with them* ; *says “Everyone, get to a safe place. Now!” in Skycloudian*
[The civilians ran off.]
Just-Kon: *looks at his allies* “Guys, stick with me.”
[The group approached the crater, carefully. When they examined it, they found a man lying in the center. They looked very otherworldly though. Their skin was pure black and their head emitted a black and blue flame.]
Haydn: “What the heck?”
Just-Kon: *approached the shadowy figure, cautiously*
Vane: “Just-Kon, be careful!”
Just-Kon: *shakes the body* “Excuse me, are you ok-”
[The man opens his eyes and blasts a ball of energy at Just-Kon’s face. Just-Kon falls backwards. The man flies up and then looks around him with a confused look on his face.]
Haydn: “Oh my- Just-Kon, are you ok!?”
Just-Kon: *groans* “Yeah, I’m fine.”
Shadow man: “What is this? Where am I?”
[Haydn helps Just-Kon stand back up.]
Just-Kon (shouting): *looks up at the man* “Hello up there!”
Shadow man: *stared down at Just-Kon*
Just-Kon (shouting): “Sorry if we scared you! We mean no harm, unless you’re thinking of trying to harm us.”
Shadow man: “And why should I trust such puny mortals like you?”
[Everyone looked in confusion.]
Haydn: “Ok?”
Just-Kon (shouting): “I’m Just-Kon, and this is Haydn, Vane, and some members of the royal guard. Who are you?”
Shadow man: “I am Shadeis. I’ve got one question for y’all.”
[A look of fear came over Just-Kon’s face as he remembered someone telling him about a dangerous being with that same name.]
Haydn: “What’s the question?”
Shadeis (in a grim and demonic voice): *gives a sinister grin*“Are you ready to die?”
Haydn: “What?”
Shadeis: *blasts an even bigger energy ball at Haydn*
Just-Kon: *jumps in the way and blocks the blast with an energy shield* ; *gets pushed to the ground as the blast hits*
Shadeis: “What!?”
Just-Kon: *gets back on his feet as he pants* “I know who you are! I’ve been told all about you! I know what you desire! I cannot let you do that to this world!”
Haydn: “Just-Kon, what are you talking about?”
Just-Kon: *turns to Haydn* “Not now, Haydn!” *turns back to Shadeis, who was still in the air*
Shadeis: “So, you’re a friend of HIM too, huh? Well this will be fun! Let’s see if you can handle this!”
[Shadeis charges up and fires a flurry of energy balls straight up into the sky. The group took cover behind or underneath something as the energy balls rained down on the battlefield.]
Haydn (talking through an earpiece): “Just-Kon, why is he attacking us!?”
Just-Kon (talking through his communicator): “Right now is a bad time, Haydn!” *switches to Vane’s channel* “Vane, call for reinforcements! Tell them to bring the neutralizers and use great caution!”
Vane (talking through his communicator): “Yes sir!” *switches to another channel* “This is Vane, does anyone copy?”
Royal Guard Member: “What’s wrong?”
Vane (talking through his communicator): “There is a dangerous entity attacking us, we need backup! Bring neutralizers and approach cautiously.”
Royal Guard Member: “Ok, we’ll be there right away.”
Vane (talking through his communicator): “And hurry!”
[Energy balls eventually stopped falling from the sky.]
Shadeis: *flies down* “I know you’re still there.” *walks towards where Just-Kon is hiding*
[A guard throws a spear at Shadeis’s back.]
Shadeis: *flinches* ; *turns around and sees the guard* “What a fool you are.”
[Shadeis’s head starts glowing blue as he dashes towards the guard. He hits him 3 times and then blasts a bunch of charged energy balls at him. The guard was knocked back, but was a bit hurt.]
Shadeis: “Huh, that’s strange. How are you still intact?”
Vane: *dashes towards Shadeis and attempts to strike him with his halberd*
Shadeis: *turns around and dodges out of the way*
Vane: *swings at Shadeis again, but horizontally*
Shadeis: *limbos*
Vane: *gives a secret sign with his hands*
[All of the melee guards charge at Shadeis. Just-Kon and Haydn joined as well. The gunners stayed in their positions and attacked from there.]
Shadeis: *summons a violet blade and freezes some of the guards* ; *slashes them to death with his claws*
Haydn: *throws a shadownite hammer at Shadeis’s back*
Shadeis: *gets pushed a fair distance* ; *turns around* “That hurt!”
Haydn: *grabs the hammer as it flies back to him* “Listen, buddy. I don’t know who you are nor what your problem is, but can’t we just talk about this? Maybe we can help you.”
Shadeis: “I don’t need your help! I don’t need anyone! I’m the strongest being to ever exist!” *charges towards Haydn and attempts to chop him with his hand*
Haydn: *dodge rolls out of the way and throws another shadownite hammer at Shadeis*
Shadeis: *morphs his hand into a long blade and summons a bunch of sword like projectiles*
[The sword projectiles home in on Haydn and blow up.]
Shadeis: *upper cuts Haydn and kicks him back down*
Haydn: *groans*
Shadeis: *stands in front of Haydn* “Why do you even try? You know you’re going to get obliterated.”
Just-Kon: *sneaks behind Shadeis in phantom mode*
Shadeis: *turns around and slashes Just-Kon with his blade* “And don’t think I don’t see you.”
Just-Kon: *exits out of phantom mode while lying on the ground* “Huh. That’s just great!” *gets back up*
[Shadeis and Just-Kon duel at each other for at least 5 minutes, until Shadeis stunned him.]
Shadeis: *morphs his blade back into his hand* ; *dashes towards Just-Kon and grabs him by the neck as he rises up in the air* “You really thought you could stop me? Did you? Well I’ve got news for you, bucko. You can’t defeat me.” *starts glowing violet, getting ready to suck all the energy of Just-Kon* “Your world is now my world! Your kind and all of humanity are now my slaves! You can’t do anything about it! You have failed!”
Just-Kon: “(Please work.) I may be the weak one, but are you?”
Shadeis: “What?”
Just-Kon: *eye gouches him*
Shadeis: “AAAAH!” *drops Just-Kon as he covers his eyes in pain*
Just-Kon: *opens a pair of wings on his armor as he falls and glides back down* “Yes!” *lands*
[Reinforcements finally arrived. They saw Just-Kon and helped him up. Just-Kon told them to give him one of the neutralizers, which was a shadownite collar that nullifies the abilities of magical or supernatural entities. Vane and Haydn came over as well to check if he was ok.]
Shadeis: *screams loudly and flies at them at a fast speed* “Die already!” *morphs his hand into a sword*
[The reinforcement soldiers start firing charged bullets and one neutralizer microchip at Shadeis. The microchip was a limited version of the collar, only lasting for a short amount of time, and was weaker. Shadeis deflected all the bullets, but not the microchip. The microchip hit his forehead and shocked him, causing him to fall.]
Just-Kon: *flies up and puts the neutralizer collar around Shadeis’s neck* ; *glides back to the ground*
Shadeis: *hits the ground as the microchip morphs his blade back into his hand* ; *stands up and pulls the microchip off his forehead* ; *smashes it on the ground* ; *sees Just-Kon* “I’m gonna obliterate your face off!” *tries to use his special attack, but the neutralizer collar put on his neck won’t let him* “What the? What did you do? Where are my powers!?” *tries to use the rest of his abilities, but nothing happened*
Random Soldier from the crowd: “It’s a neutralizer. It nullifies the wearer’s magical or supernatural abilities.”
Just-Kon: “Yeah, they’re usually used on criminals and prison inmates with these kinds of abilities. I wouldn’t keep standing there like that if I were you. Right now, you look like an idiot.”
Shadeis: *charges at Just-Kon* “Why you son of a-” *gets shocked by the collar and falls unconscious*
Haydn: “Is he ok?”
Just-Kon: “He should be fine.”
*Later*
Haydn: “So you’re telling me that shade guy wanted to rule the world?”
Just-Kon: “Yup.”
[Just-Kon and Haydn discuss what just happened. The news is playing in the background.]
Haydn: “Why does he hate humans?”
Just-Kon: “I can’t remember why.”
Haydn: “The person who told you this, what was his name again?”
Just-Kon: “His name was-” *notices something strange bing explained on the tv*
Haydn: “Was?” *looks at the tv*
Audrey: “...Looking back at the status of the mysterious infection that broke out yesterday, AKA the Serpent's Bidding, it has been reported to have spread to the other areas of the island, except for the Warp Zone. Those parts of the island include the Sunburn, Frostbite, Mount Ender, and Obsidian Ash Zones, while growing a bit worse in the Tropical Valley Zone. Local residents are still able to hold their ground against the wandering infectants; however, if the Serpent’s Bidding continues to grow worse, a mandatory evacuation may be necessary.”
Neil: “And speaking of infectants, a local explorer in the Tropical Valley Zone recorded this video of him being chased by a strange plant in the jungle. Here’s the following footage…”
[The video plays on the screen.]
Explorer: *running while holding the camera* “This is Jamie Hallow! I am currently running from this plant thing! She is using the plants around her to attack me! PLEASE SEND HELP! *falls to the ground and drops the camera* ; *screams*
[The video ends with the camera showing the explorer getting dragged by vines towards a figure with a head resembling a flower. Its eye can be seen glowing a toxic green color as well. The screen then zooms in on the figure.]
Audrey: “Local explorer, Jamie Hallow, appears to have been attacked by this alien flower with a human body. From the color of the green eye, it appears it has also been infected by the Serpent’s Bidding; therefore, Jamie has become infected as well…”
[Just-Kon and Haydn already left as Audrey continued talking.]
