it's your coloring. :( honestly tifa, it would be a lot better if you didn't use the binary tool on SAI at all.
it makes the edges look choppy and gross. ;_;

you have potential to do really good. :D like your linework isn't horrible, but when it's colored. it looses it's charm to me. :c

yeah, even then. i can still see it. it doesn't look really good as a finished product. :\
actually you can still pull of the cell shading with the pen tool, like i do.
basically base layer > new layer > clipping group > multiply.
that's usually how i do it. to make it more softer, i use the blur tool. ;o
plus i would consider changing the pen pressure to make it less blurry when you ink, i can see it really smooth.. then a big blur. :B
