Galran let loose a fireball into Oden’s face, something that didn’t really hurt him but definitely pissed him off, and the dragon responded with a mighty claw swipe that slammed into the ground where Galran had been standing moments ago. The rock splintered, but Galran responded with a sword swing into the dragon’s forelimb. The blade, enhanced with the strongest spells the wizard-turned-knight could muster, bounced off the hardened scales with a very worrying ting. There wasn’t a scratch, and the dragon laughed.

“Perhaps you should have brought a more competent weapon, ha!”
