Meatware lore: Smart Skin Suit
The Triple S, or just Tri-Ex for short.
D.'s suit doesn't just make him look good, it's a highly advanced battle armor.
A mix of organics and tech, it can run on electricity, but also absorb organic matter to repair itself or generate small electrical charges. Waste material from metabolic generation is turned into gas and evaporates, odorless. It breathes, basically.
The Gravity distortion field runs on the same tech that elevates the floating estates, drones and Iki's elevator. How that exactly works i'll leave in the realm od speculation... somebody musta figured out a way to undo gravitational force. Maybe Strange Matter? I took the idea mostly from that one Cowboy Bebop episode, with the crazy jester... and that took the idea from Dune.
Of course he didn't get to keep the suit when he was thrown in the junkyard. That thing was almost as expensive as him, and can be re-programmed unlike him. :U He kinda misses it, it was the only thing he sort of owned.

i'm sure there were some... mishaps during the initial development. xD it's meant to only eat dead or diseased tissue. for a RL exmaple, maggots are used to clean out necrotic tissue from wounds, without accidently eating your whole leg or arm.

The chameleon camouflage has three distinct proprietary patterning settings:
- Orion's Belt StarGlitter
- Shootout At A Chemical Plant
and
- Glamour Tie-Dye Leotard (aka The Bismuth Bowie)
Senses wearer's stress levels, and applies sensual massage accordingly.
Voice snyth is like a voice synth, but it emphasssizesss hissing sssibilantsss, yesss.
