It's not easy being the only human in an Umbra guild, but the advantages definitely outnumber the drawbacks. No need for a horse. Just jump on your teammate's shoulder to hitch a ride. Their large size makes you harder to spot and target, and people won't try and mess with you with friends like these in general.
Umbras can't wear boots in this game for balance reasons however, so expect to become the guild's personal podiatrist. Don't worry, it brings as much EXP as healing anything else.
