It's a very nice story. A small scene that could be developed into a big story or a whole novel. I really liked it.

The comma goes in the quotes. No comma if it is a ? or a !

I'm no master in proper usage of punctuation marks, but still I think it isn't bad. Rules of their usage can differ in various languages and I use rules from my native language. Will take you notes nonetheless, though.

Yes, I am well aware of this fact.
Out of all of it, its the period over the comma is the one that needs changed as it does certain things to the dialogue.

This? Yeah, it can be strange in certain situations. Will surely change that.

Yep these moments:

”Good work,” (no period) commander stated.

If someone does the talking no period, use the comma.

So all the things like this:

”Good that I found you,” comer stated.

”Report, soldier,” commander replied.

I started writing in my native language, but for couple of years, I started writing in English as well, which wasn't that difficult - I consider my English to be fairly well.

Perhaps. I actually wanted to do a fantasy series, got some pieces like characters and world prepared, but only partially. Of course, before I do that, I want to finish writing Yavian Refuge, which will take a while.
