Name: Subject 3-73

Weight: 160lbs (72.5kg)
Test Batch: 3
Unit: 73
Stock: Katarina Starling
Notes: Mentally unstable and difficult to control. Desired physical and metaphysical attributes present, but due to mental deficiencies unit has been flagged for termination.
Additional: Subject is considered armed and extremely dangerous. All Terran Alliance personnel are directed to avoid contact and report sightings to local Garrison command.
Humanity had a problem when it came to early space exploration. The human body was just not evolved to handle space, Zero G, or High G long term. What developed was a program splicing human and animal DNA know as Genotyping. Genotyping would allow humans to reinforce themselves with the positive traits of animals to better adapt.
After Genotype humans had spread amongst the Solar system, a discovery of an ancient DNA vault was discovered. The DNA belonged to a long dead alien race as an attempt to safeguard their species from extinction. Taken back to Site Black 93 in Alaska. There the DNA was reconstructed after many attempts, a viable embryo was stabilized. The alien, once grown to a child, displayed incredible psychic abilities. It was decided that should the alien be Genotyped with Human DNA to produce superior soldiers to bring the break away colonies back in line.
Researcher Cathrine Starling and Tod Silverash used a cloned DNA template of their Daughter Katarina, and began experiments with genotyping the alien DNA. Other experimental technology such as biological enhancements were tested as well to create a true super soldier.
At first the results were terrible. Batch 1 resulted in girls who had no control over their powers, and couldnt use them at all, and the strain killed them in short order. Batch 2 focused on strengthening the brain's synapses and receptors. These clone girls were intelligent, and had full use of the same alien powers but were physically frail and sickly. Many died to abuse at the hands of researchers ranging from tests to sexual assaults.
Batch 3 was supposed to be the ultimate version. Now armed with healthy, superhuman bodies and reinforced minds, the clones seemed like normal girls. The Abuses that had begun in the late days of Batch 1 however arose again, tormenting the girls while they were growing. They were put through combat trials as well, being forged into weapons for the state. However their mental well being was not cared for, and while they had mental reinforcing that did nothing to stop emotional trauma. Many went insane, or committed suicide, enough so for Batch 3 to be considered a failure. Batch 4 would introduce emotion suppressant systems to eliminate the problem.
Everything was turned upside down during a surprise attack by the Martian Sovereignty. Having learned about a "biological superweapon" being stored at the site, Martian special forces leveled the base, killing everyone involved, military or civilian. It was a ruthless and calculated attack, one that was all the spark the Terran Alliance needed to launch into the 2nd Reunification war.
K3-73 was strapped to a medical table at the time. Bruised from the beatings, malnourished, sedated from the last time the guards toyed with her, she could only laugh as the first explosion rocked the base. She could feel the killing intent of the attackers, and she relished in the fear of the emotions of all the facility staff. She used the opportunity to escape, using her powers to impale her guard with falling debris, and cutting her bonds to the table using his bayonet. She killed anyone she came across as they fled the facility, her psychotic laughter echoing down dark halls. Eventually, after finding a collection of cloths and tactical gear from assorted lockers and guards as well as a survival axe, she made her way into the wilderness. The lone survivor of Site Black 93, watching as the Martian raiders returned to orbit. She would harm everyone who had harmed her and her dead sisters, including the alien who she blamed for her cursed existence. When, as time passed, she learned the alien eventually had a daughter she made it her singular goal to destroy this child. What could harm the alien more than that?
