Quite EYE catching! Is that sculpey you're using for the rims, or something else?

Some Sculpey Firm/Super, some other stuff I use to mix everything together to make 'em strong :)

Good way to do it! Have you tried Aves Studio's Apoxi Scuplt yet? Love the stuff for doing conversions for miniatures, since it's sandable and drillable once cured.

I haven't tried it yet - I've had it on my amazon wishlist for forever but keep forgetting to buy it for myself XD

Easy EASY stuff to use= it's two-part, so you can literally change the strength and texture if you want, comes in all sorts of colors, doesn't smell foul, and washes off your hands easy enough (one part of it feels a little oily out of the container, but it doesn't 'smear' from my experiences with it. It's not a 'glue' epoxy, so it shouldn't be used for binding though. Also, I've yet to see it shrink on me when curing. BIG plus :)
