The Bearhug family are a big name in Onyxhill's various communities. They run a bar for many of the adults to carrol around and it's somehow the safest place to be. Benjamin Bearhug Sr., otherwise known as Papa Bear, is a burly bear and has sent various members of various thugs and punks packing and his wife, Betty Bearhug, or Mama Bear, have done the same.

Their bar, just across the street from Grandma Ginger's Jitterbug, is called the Honeycomb, well known for their homemade mead. Papa & Mama Bear hope to retire and someday pass the bar down to their son, Benjamin Bearhug Jr., often called BJ or Benny, but just about everyone calls him 'Baby Bear'; a nickname that has stuck to him like glue no matter how hard he tries. He's a soft spoken bear, but you should never take it for weakness. He's nice enough to let you back out of a fight, but that kindness only goes so far.

Meanwhile, one of the bartenders at the bar is Goldie Locks, often called 'Goldilocks' by most folk in Onyxhill. She's bold & brash, and has no qualms being as loud as possible. Goldie's a spitfire and is proud to have broken up plenty of fights in the Honeycomb with her own fists.

Goldie and Baby Bear are childhood friends. The two of them are incredibly close; in a lot of ways, the two are practically together romantically. It just isn't 'official'; they sure do act as a couple, but they don't wanna put a name on it in case it ruins their friendship. Though, everyone in Onyxhill is just waiting for the wedding date.
