Why isn't the farmer character turning into an animal? Obviously he is cursed to be spreading it right?

Looks to me like whomever cast this overkill nightmare of a curse wants to make sure he suffers because of it. And since fully transforming means you don’t remember your humanity, he wouldn’t be able to suffer.

story reason : cause if no one is there to spread the curse , the curse is useless
Meta-real reason : this is supposed to be YOUR farmer , i tried to make them as ""plain" as possible , if i transform them it's remove the element of ""owning"" the farmer (( and if i choose an animal you don't like that even worse )) , beside if i done that, the storyboard/story would be a mess

Hmm. Thing is, I can’t think of anyone who would WANT to curse my farmer that badly! Phil was generally rather nice, anyone who tried asking him out was politely turned down (that’s why I offered him to help Sebastian out if he needs it).

He’d be firmly of the opinion that the person who cast this overkill nuclear bomb of a curse is a drunk, obsessive nutcase who needs to be hunted down and forced to cast the countercurse, THEN have their ability to use magic stripped away before getting charged with multiple murders and stuffed in prison for the rest of their life.
