{Little Backstory about these two: Ryota during his young once traveled to another universe where he met Lucy and her young daughter Emma, since the two lost their spouses they both understood one another developing a close friendship. After his task was over he was permitted to return back to his universe, Lucy actually promised that one day they will meet again in the future. Years have past when Emma and Lucy actually arrived to Ryota's universe for shelter they actually began living there and even played a hand in some of Marc's and his friend's mission. In the background both Lucy and Ryota gotten closer and even developed a romance between each other.}

• Now in the present day it was actually kind of a shock as the two announced that they were about to be engaged with one another, Marc was shock knowing his father would still be grieving over his wife but Ryota assured him even though he loved wife very much she would have wanted him to move on, never to live in pain forever. In a funny way Marc revealed not only Lucy is his new mom but Emma her daughter his now his step-sister. She always did see Marc as an older brother since they met.
