Point and Click Tavern
Like I did with CanFURence 2022's steampunk theme https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47910670/ I decided to do a theme pic for Furnal Equinox 2023's Tales from the Tavern theme. So I went with a point and click style where the hero enters a tavern and clicks on the purple guy at a table. The screen zooms in and a dialogue occurs.

Max the canvas something actually small, old school like. Like nothing more than 128 or 240 pixels wide. Turn off all anti-aliasing on the marker tools and eraser. Then it just paints like pixel art. When you're done enlarge the photo with the setting of Nearest Neighbour (hard) and it still looks pixelated, but now at a bigger size. THAT process was what I was missing, otherwise I would have started doing pixel stuff years ago!
