Rey grunted as he locked arms with the big Dragonite before him, crowd cheering on wildly. The two had been going at it for quite some time, though the Nidoking had gained a signifigant lead, despite type differences. He grunted, heaving upwards, and lifting the dragon type off the ground, before slamming him back down against the arena floor, and smashing his own sweaty, heavyset body back down atop him.
The dragonite groaned as the air was knocked out of him, and his struggles lessened. Smirking, Rey got back up, lifting up a large foot and pinning his opponent to the ground, roaring as the crowd went wild and the referre declared him the victor of yet another match. He had gone an entire year as an undefeated champion, and wasn't about to give that streak up to anybody.
---
He entered the shower room some time after his victory, having been held back by fans and the like, to find that same dragonite waiting for him. He was glaring at him unhappily, and there was this odd, sinister glow in his eyes which he saw before his match, but paid little attention to. He gave a cocky smirk, and came up to slap the fella in the back, his reputation having given him quite an ego.
"Its alright man, not like you were going up against some rookie or anything." He said rather smugly. "I wouldn't have been surprised myse-"
He stopped, feeling an odd sensation in his chest that seemed to paralyze his whole body. His eyes shifted down to find that the dragon types claws were reaching directly into his chest. It wasn't a wound. Simply passing right through it. It was now that he noticed that the dragon was surrounded by an ominous purple haze. This guy wasn't normal. Too bad he seemed to figure that out a bit too late.
He felt something inside him touched. Something that he felt should be precious. Something that felt absolutely horrendous to be gripped like that. The next scene seemed to pass rather fast. Whatever had been grabbed was being pulled out, effortlessly, as this deep purple haze flowed forwards from the dragonites face. Rey could catch a glimpse of those sinister eyes flowing out with said smog, before things seemed to... blur.
When he came to, he thought he was looking in a mirror, though he felt a type of chill come over him as he realized his eyes now were glowing with that same hue which his opponents had. Perhaps more disturbing, looking over his own form personally would reveal he was now transparent. Spiritual. However he had managed it, his opponent had pulled out his soul.
Kingsly grinned with his new maw, looking down at the spirit of his cocky opponent.
"Damn nice body you got here," He chuckled, flexing a few muscles and thumping his tail on the ground lightly "You are right. It -is- no surprise I lost. But I wouldn't have found as fine a host as you otherwise."
Rey shuddered a bit at those words, and noticed that the dragonite was still in the room. It was standing aimlessly, its eyes hollow, almost equally as creepy as when they had been glowing.
"Wh-whats going on?" He demanded, trying to sound as firm as possible "You bastard! Give me my body back!"
"Oh, I don't think ill be doing that." He rang out, scratching the 'kings gut some "But if you wanna be inside it again... by all means~"
The kings maw yawned open, and Rey tried to resist as some type of overpowering suction type force drew him upwards, twords the saliva coated interior. Before he knew it, his spirit was being swallowed by his own mouth, and in a moment, he was sitting in his own stomach.
Kingsley scratched his new gut as he felt the spirit within trying to escape frantically, his ghostly powers causing him to remain confined, though it was the slightest bit uncomfertable. While Rey's body had surpassed any of Kingsley's in raw power, his stomach sure wasn't up to snuff. Though thats how it always was with a new form. He had to break it in to his new diet. After a few weeks of fully tangeable, wriggling meals, he would train this stomach to be on-par with his more... lively, diet.
He chuckled and gave his stomach some pats as Rey began to fade within, slowly being churned and absorbed by his own digestive system, becoming one with his body, though never to control it again. He turned to his dragonite form, and used his claws to shut the eyes, heaving him up over a shoulder effortlessly with Rey's muscles.
He loved being a dragonite. However, as strong as the fella was, he didnt get the same rush of power that this nidokings body did. He simply would have it sit in his collection. To sit and be admired, occasionally taking it for a spin, but that was it.
The world was ready to meet Kingsley the Nidoking. As for Rey... well, with a final glurp, that man was no more.
