What does Michael Knowles have to do with anything you're saying here? The footage you featured in this video isn't specifically about transgender people. I did a little extra research to find the full speech, and in it, he's actually talking about the toxic ideology surrounding the transgender movement and how it needs to be eradicated from underage spaces. You took a tiny snippet from that speech and blew it way out of proportion to make it sound like he was calling for the eradication of transgender people, which isn't accurate at all.

Trans ideology is not a thing. it does not exist and is a way for bigots to get around saying they want to kill trans people. No they just want to eradicate the idea that you can be trans, they want to get rid of the idea that trans kid exists, they want you to know you can only ever be one gender and if you stray from the path you will be eradicated. thats what he is saying and thats so damn clear.

so what, he wants to get rid of the idea of transgender people? that means getting rid of trans people. trans kids exist and they are valid.

I'm not saying we should kill people here. Stop jumping to conclusions. There's a perfectly reasonable argument against pushing transgenderism onto kids. We don't allow children to have plastic surgery, drink alcohol, or smoke. Adults are allowed to do those things if they want to because they're old enough to consent. Children aren't, so it's reckless to pretend they're of the maturity to make lifelong alterations to their bodies.

Would you have trusted your childhood self to make a decision like that? I doubt it. That's why we restrict this sort of stuff to adults.

Transgender ideology refers to the idea that one can be born transgender and that there's a war against the validity of transgender people's existence, which is a dishonest interpretation of what's actually being argued over. Of course they exist. All that's up for debate is the validity of letting someone who isn't old enough to have a driver's license have full access to body-altering drugs.

did you know, if you do a basic google search you will find,...you can reverse those drugs? yeah, its called purpety blockers not puperty destroyer. it just blocks it for a time but you can start it back up. a lot of those drugs are reversable. even surgery can be reversed. also if it saves their lives then whats the issue?
thats the issue with right wing nut jobs, they do zero research. drugs are reversable, nothing is perminit into you get into major surgery which dosnt ever happen on children unless its to save their life yet you people constantly claim it does. it doesn't, where are all these kids who get surgery? their isnt any.
also kids can get plastic surgery, theirs no age limit for it. again quick google search. and adults will gladly pay for the teenager to change their nose or something if it makes them happy.

Puberty blockers are not 100% reversible. You're literally stunting the natural growth of a person's body during one of the most crucial periods of development. That's going to have lasting consequences. Here's an account from a detransitioner I've met in real life. These are the people you should listen to. They're not sanitized to fit the narratives of Fox News or curated like the results of a Google search. Listen to actual people who are speaking up about their troubled experiences instead of trying to drown their voices out with disproven talking points.
