Everybody in the macro/micro fandom knows about this one part from this one episode. Well, I got it reanimated, but with Amanda!

Mmmph! This was great.
I actually think it was this scene alone, and possibly the shrinking scene in Mars Attacks! that gave me my macro/micro fetish. Not sure if the idea was appealing or if the idea freaked me out that my brain decided to make me attracted to as a defense mechanism.
But I totally remember the first time I saw this episode, it was a morning before going to middle school. I remember I was pre-pubesent so all I remember is my heart beat quickening inexplicably, I had no idea why it was affecting me like that. It was the strangest feeling.
But I'm glad to hear from you that it's a well known scene in the fandom, it really is like a perfect microcosm (no pun intended) of the exact thing that makes shrinking so sexy. That instant power shift, how anyone can go from dominant to a defenseless bug in an instant. That power shift, at least to me, is SO damn sexy. I think to me, this scene in particular has an extra layer of ironic sexiness since Tom is naturally bigger than Jerry even before the muscle expansion/inflation, and then by the end of it their size difference is literally mirrored opposite, Tom now being a mouse size compared to Jerry, a mouse to a mouse if you will. This whole idea was so amazing I even did my own reference to this episode with my Mosquito girl shrinking a human in the comic Bug for a Bug.
Anyway, sorry to ramble. Very well done semi-rotoscoping (but no really) of the original scene, awesome to see it in a different light. Been a fan of your shrinking stuff for quite awhile!

there's actually quite a few, allot of 80s & 90s cartoons, that had shrinking and size changing stuff similar to this <3
quite a few having names like "incredible shrinking [insert character name]", it's actually a little (no pun intended) fascinating how many toons used this theme
even loony tunes had some fun with it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJJW7EF5aVk
also, just gonna say, i love your bug for a bug comic, it's awesome
