quick paint doodle done during art block. Started out with a black background and worked over it with lighter colors gradually until I had a general shape. Lot easier to to, quicker to do and helps study light. Used to do it with charcoal by smearing it in and using an eraser to draw highlights, this way is a lil less messy :P
hopefully it looks alright, been messing with horses lately, helping my sister look after hers helps. Swear there's no better way to practice than actually stare at a live one. Get a lot more out of it than in pictures.

pretty much was all just playing with things i dont do often: plants, water, flutterbies
