Having your excellent feet evaluated by a professional limb enthusiast (see https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51219212/ ) like hexadoodle. Who was kind enough to let me draw this after those business cards gave me a fun idea and I thank him for it.

This was a lot of fun to do, thanks to hexadoodle having just such a great shape. Really exciting to draw. This despite it being my most technically difficult picture ever because of three, count 'em, three hands holding things.

I added a bit of speckling to Austin in the hopes of making him look less like a cartoon, to play up how toony Hexadoodle is. Not sure that worked, but having Austin shaded by airbrush and Hexadoodle shaded by solid ink does work.
Fun fact: a squirrel friend of mine once came up and told me how badly it squicked him to learn that here I was, a coati, able to twist my ankles all the way around. He was not happy when I taught him squirrels have the same ankle move.
This is possibly the first picture on FurAffinity where a coati's flexible ankles have come into play.
