Dipper's Wedding Day, two years in the making, finally arrives. You can see Bobby Thornbody up there as Dipper's Best Man.
As a side note, the two honor guards at the front, barring the exit of Dipper and Emily, until they kiss, are Lt. Zim and General Frankel. Nice touch.

I was thinking, "They turned to face the applause of their family and friends, and stepped into the traditional arch of sabers, held by the Air Force honor guard...Dipper blinked when he suddenly recognized the two officers at the far end of the archway; it was Lt. Zim and General Frankle! They were both suppressing grins, and then slowly they lowered their swords, blocking the couple's progress.
"Kiss her, you fool!" Dipper heard Frankel growl softly.
"Yes, Sir, Sir!" replied Dipper, taking his bride in his arms. That was one order he was happy to obey!
Frankel and Zim then raised their swords, permitting the couple to exit. But just as Emily passed in front of her, Lt. Zim gave her a light swat on the bustle with the flat of her sword. Another tradition.
"Welcome to the Air Force, Ma'am!" Zim grinned.

Thank you! I was telling Max that this picture gave me fits, due to the numerous layers I was having to use, and not being as familiar with how to use the Wacom tablet as I could have been. It took a lot longer to complete than I anticipated.
I was going to draw in the pews, and put the family members into them, but the pews gave me a head-ache by not coming out right, and then as time grew short I realized I just couldn't come up with twelve or fourteen additional characters (the only ones I knew how to draw would have been Stargazer, his wife Sara, and Birch.) So I decided to leave out the guests. I feel badly about that because it would have been really cool.
Another part that frustrated me was the sheer number of Air Force uniforms, and all the insignia and decorations on them. In the photos I was using for the poses, I think every person in the honor guard wore a different style of uniform. I wasn't sure what would be "correct" for this situation.
I am really pleased with how Zim and Frankel came out, even if they're not as "cartoony" as the other characters.
