Just some desert animals themed into pokemon for fun exercises! Cactus mule, a water kangaroo rat, and a electric roadrunner! They all still need names and I am struggling with it.

i decided to come up with some name ideas for these cuties just for fun ;w; had a hard time coming up with names for the mule but this was fun to do haha!
kangaroo rat: Dripodomus (dipodomys, the genus of kangaroo rats + drip + mus, genus of mice- plus changing the y to a u makes the name easier to spell lol), Jerbrine (jerboa + brine), Takawata (tarkawara, another name for a species of hopping mouse + water spelled in a silly way, also sounds similar to "take a water" which i imagine they'd be stashing water away somehow, living in the desert)
roadrunner: Zaparral (chaparral birds, another name for roadrunners + zap), Electrunn (electron + run), Galvanimble (galvanized + nimble), Kilowile (kilowatt + a nod to the warner bros roadrunner cartoon, though i imagine it wouldn't be pronounced as "wily" like the coyote's name but the same as "while" which also ties in with the speed/time theme)
mule: Hybristle (hybrid + bristle), Barbroid (barb, as in a cactus spine + zebroid, any zebra/equine hybrid)
