
This is for a project I'm working on that is Mutant 59 related. This is an update on much of the equipment used by the Kannists and Lunari. Some of it you might recognize. Others are brand new additions. I'll go on a list from top to bottom(Would've added labels, but the scanner I used to scan this was so broken, I could barely manage to get a good picture of this.)
13,000K Plasma Breather
Not wanting to be out of the arms race, weapons developers on Knowall looked back on their torch blade and applied it to one of the most widely used firearms by Kannists today. They developed the cheap but very deadly 13,000K Plasma Breather.
It is a two-handed flamethrower that does not require a fuel pack to be used. The weapon is loaded with liquid methane tanks, connected to the flamethrowers and suspended with miniature inertia dampeners to make the gun incredibly light. A switch near the handrest turns the flame on and off, and the plasma flame can fire up to 6 yards and can spread up to 2 yards wide. This high temperature breather is deadly against some of the common place Renegade Drones, as even their dense armor can't withstand the heat from these breathers.
1.21 Giga-Watt Sword
Manufactured in Mya-Kin, this sword runs on a super powerful fuel cell, with a built in computer to control compacting the size of this sword. Toggling the switch, the hilt of the sword extends, and the two electrical nodes come apart with the help of a mechanical support beam, locked down with miniature components for extending and retracting the "blade". When turned on, it creates an arching blade of electricity, which won't harm the insulated weapon itself or the wearer so long as they're not wearing conductive materials or hold it too close.
These blades have proven effective against Renegades and, to some degree, cutting, and more are being requested to be forged by the technological geniuses of Mya-Kin. While very powerful, the sword has a problem with draining the fuel cells very quickly in a matter of hours.
In case of an emergency, the sword can be charged for short periods of time with rapid kinetic energy being applied to the hilt(shaking it up and down like those special flashlights without batteries.) It just so happens that Roxxane Irving, one of the "crew members" of Brine Labs, carries one on her at all times in self defense.
G-17 Minuteman
Using the same principle as the G-15, the Kannists were able to compress the G-15 into a much smaller gun, allowing for duel wielding with a handgun that packed as much punch as the Patriot Rifle, at the cost of less shots. The consumption of power for the pistol is too much for it to handle, causing it to use up more of its power quicker than its cousin. The handguards that extend below the barrel, however, are perfect for deflecting lasers as well as for pistol whipping.
G-15 Patriot Beam Rifle
The G-15 uses electrical power to operate a high-powered laser capable of shearing durasteel. It can be strapped using special strips that come with it or by the handle near the barrel on the top. Battery indicators and vents help to know when you need to give it a rest. A toggle switch near the trigger controls the width and strength of the beam. A smaller beam is more concentrated but can only be used against one target, while the wider beam option can be used against mulitple targets close together but is not as powerful.

The concept of this was concocted by rigging a primitive garbage incinerator unit into a blow torch, resulting in a very nasty melee weapon. A much older weapon developed on Knowall, the torch blade was eventually replaced by the 1.21 Giga-Watt Sword, largely due to its impossible weight. It is still a popular choice by marines in power suits, as their augmented robotic strength can carry them easily.
It is a high temperature fire sword powered by twin tanks of compressed liquid methane. The tanks themselves are what makes them so heavy. Due to it's weight, it takes a power suit to wield it effectively with just one paw. The flare blade shoots a meter long stream of high-powered flames that will cut effectively through dense metals like titanium and strong alloys. Unfortunately, the compressed liquid oxygen makes it a very volatile weapon. Concentrated trauma on the tanks themselves will cause the weapon to explode, causing concussive damage to the marine. Extreme temperature environments(particularly heat based.) may cause the tanks to combust, giving off a bomb like explosion. It will not work in space as a weapon, but it can serve as a sort of jet to push the marine through the depths of space for a limited time.

This rifle is a particle based energy weapon that, due to the lack of a particle accelerator, gathers particles in the air and fires a concentrated beam of positrons. The effect is similar to the proton packs in ghostbusters. In order for it to fire effectively, the marine must let it charge for a few seconds to have a better blast. The longer one charges it, the greater the beam(charging it for too long will cause the rifle itself to rupture.) The weapon itself sucks up a lot of power, which is why it is powered by a quartet of high-voltage dry cell batteries, each capable of generating 10-Megaamps/sec. They're installed in ports between the butt and the barrel of the rifle. The dependence on air makes it useless in space and worlds with little or no atmosphere. Finally. the rifle may be hard to control for some and may cause them to jerk off target a few inches, even with the arm bracer attached to it. The beam itself fires in a wavy, whip like stream, and may not always hit dead on, anyway, but it has an effective blast radius. Anything it misses within a few inches directly is bound to take some major damage.
Marine Power Armor
There are two departments in the Ten Empire's ground force: army and marines. While the armies focus on habitable planetary defense, the marines are trained for space missions and extreme environments. This power suit is an amped up version of the standard power suits for space missions, designed for extreme environmental missions and space missions. Like the vacuum suits used by space pilots, the power suits can be designed for a wide variety of species. What you see here is a variety of designs for the leg and head design. These are the most universal designs issued by the Industrial-Military Department. There are specialized designs for Kannists with not so modular designs(Horns, Tauric bodies, Wings, different shaped hands, etc.) But these suits must be specially ordered and will cost more, depending on the build of the Kannist.
The suit can withstand temperatures over 2,000 degrees Centigrade and down -37 degrees Centigrade(Excluding Varia Body Shielding, which cane shield up to 12,000 degrees centigrade and -120 degrees Centigrade). Any subzero temperatures close to zero Kelvin will immobilize the suit, but the one inside of it will be rendered unharmed. When involved with radioactive areas, it can withstand over 2,000 roentgens. Vacuum-sealed, the suit is capable of keeping out any biohazards as small as 25 micrometers. Life supports for the suit last as long as 20 decacycles.
The suit itself is unable to move effectively in underwater missions, however, and because it is electronic based, the suit is susceptable to voltage and magnetism. High amounts of voltage will overload the circuits in the suit, leaving the user vulnerable to the elements, and magnets will screw around with the programming of the suit itself. It comes with its own built in miltary computer, which displays any form of information or files the marine needs. Unfortunately, like everything mentioned here, the suit will share the same weaknesses as a computer(someone will be able to hack into the suit like a regular computer and do all kinds of crazy stuff However, they'd need to pry open the chest plating, access the core and hack it there. Either that or use powers like Mutant Zero's.)
Movement wise, the marine is slightly slowed to machine like strides. Vacuum soles keep the Marine balanced on spaceships or worlds with little gravity. Exhaust valves behind the upper torso can also serve as jet packs to give the user a kind of boost when they jump. However, doing so releases a little bit of their life support.
