Great concept actually
It could be a very interesting plot twist that dragons instead of rivaling with dwarfs became friends and mentors creating sort of symbiosis between two completely different species
In addition... i just love the arts with smithing themes. Creating things from will, thought and strength is just a magic. Making the lifeless and shapeless piece of forged iron take a form of something useful, new or even beautiful is a very great deed

I have been sitting on this idea for maybe three years now. I the lighting of this was going to be key. I am very please how this turned out. I have to say Aledonrex went way above and beyond what i was expecting. I will say the idea of the drake teach the dwarf of inflused by "The Last Airbender" when the mole things tought people how to earth bend.

Possibly it has some connections with that particular moment
But the fact how original this scene looks i like beyond believes
Artist deserve a big chunk of attention for such a nice work!

I can't tell if the dragon is huge or if the dwarf is tiny :P
